7ft 3 piece 4wt.
I' only own two 7ft 3 piece rods. One is
one of the first rod I experimented on and is a terrible casting
tool. The second came at the end of a series of experiments
on 7 by 3 rods. I learned a lot in the process. I've given
the other rods to friends. The were good rods but not what I'm
always looking for.  The rod is one of the first rods I built, so it's not fancy but it is a very smooth casting rod.  I has a gold reel seat from another rod available, so I decided to use it. It's not my favorite reel seat but it holds the reel. Note the cork. I'd never use anything like that on a rod that was going out of my shop. back to the rods back to the gallery to fishtested.com |
